Vigg studied Political Science, Russian Literature & anthropology and in 1996 decided to become an illustrator.
His conceptual illustration is about various social issues & he uses mixed techniques involving the collage of photographs, drawings, paint & other materials. Vigg's concern for artwork made in today's world is to re-use, whenever possible, materials & elements around him.
Overall, Vigg's work revolves around our modern way of consuming information about a topic that comes from a multitude of sources including TV, radio, internet, print etc. In the end we put all the bits and pieces of information together to form an opinion.
This is a good metaphor for Vigg's illustrative style & technique.
